Short-Term Residence Permit
Among all residency permits, the Turkish short-term resident permit is the most highly after.

Family Residence Permit
A family residency permit may be offered to a Turkish national's foreign spouse, minor children, and dependent foreign kid.

Student Residence Permit
If you are in Turkey for the purpose of entering primary or secondary education, you can apply for a student residency permit.

Long-Term Residence Permit
If you have lived in Turkey for at least eight years continuously under a residence permission issued by the Turkish authorities, you can apply for a Turkish long-term permit with unlimited duration.
You are not eligible to apply if you have lived in Turkey for the specified period as a refugee,conditional refugee,or secondary protection status holder,humanitarian residence visa holder,or temporary protection holder.
Humanitarian Residence Permit
If you are in Turkey without a valid visa or residence permit, but no deportation decision has been made against you,you are awaiting deportation,or you are unable to return to your country of residence due to an emergency,you may apply for this residence permit.

You can apply for this residency visa if you are a victim of human trafficking and are in Turkey.
How to Apply for a Turkey Residence Permit
A number of processes must be followed in order to apply for a Turkish Residence Permit.
The first thing you should be aware of is that you must apply for a residence permit within one month of arriving in Turkey.
Choose the sort of residency permit you wish to apply for, and then fill out the online application at the Turkish Ministry of Interior's website.

Expiration of a Resident Permit
The duration of a Residence Permit in Turkey is determined by the type of permit you possess, which is as follows:
Short-term resident permits are valid for a maximum of two years.
Long-term resident permits have indefinite validity.
The duration of a Student Residence Permit is determined by the length of study. If your schooling duration is less than a year, your residence permit cannot last longer than the education period.
The family residency permit can be awarded for a maximum of three years at a time.
The permit for humanitarian residency is issued and can be renewed for up to one year.
